For those of you who aren't familiar with this platform; Patreon is a membership program that helps creators and artists earn a monthly income so that they have more free time and more supplies to continue making the things you love. It's also a great way for the artist to connect with their fans by providing fun rewards and exclusive member-only perks, along with other exclusive communications such as my members-only facebook group.
Patronage is actually a very old practice that has been around for many centuries and is a beautiful way for fans to help a creative soul to better accomplish their dreams. You may have heard the term "patron of the arts" before, or you may remember stories of famous artists such as Johannes Vermeer and his patron Pieter van Ruijven, or other such pairings of artist and benefactor. Patreon is much the same, but rather than one patron supporting the full amount, it is more affordably dispersed among a small community of fans.
I truly and deeply appreciate each and every one of my fans who support me through this program, though not only for their membership. Each of these people mean so much more to me than the fee that they contribute each month. I am truly humbled that they have chosen to be a part of this dream; offering continued encouragement, inspiration, motivation and friendship. I am truly blessed to know each of you; Brandon, Jason, Colleen, Franklin, Carlos, Katina, Brittany, Penny, Trish, Diane, Jason and Jessica.
